Design and Documentation

Chalmers & Co Design can provide the full service including building concept design, feasibilty studies, Development Applications, construction drawings and Building Licence drawings.

We can also include interior design and landscape concept design and documentation for your project.

Development Application and Building Licence

We are experienced in preparing Development Applications (DA) for submission to the local authorities. Once the DA has been approved, we will progress to the preparation of the documents so your builder can obtain a Building Licence (BL).

Project Management

We are experienced at project management and contract administration for local residential contracts.

We have developed some projects from an empty block of land, overseeing the subdivision, DA and BL processes, followed by contract administration until building completion.

Contract Administration

We can oversee your project, on site, with the contractor to make sure all elements of the design are completed, on time and within budget. We can carry out final inspections and prepare progress claims throughout the project. We will prepare monthly financial reports so you know exactly how much you are spending. We try to anticipate possible variations and mitigate their impact on the overall budget.
